We are all moved and mostly settled I supposed. I've actually been at home in Lancaster the past two days working, but it's back out to the new homestead tomorrow. My step-sister Kristen is coming with me and staying a few days to help with the painting and just spend some time together. I may try to see about taking a day out for some hiking and the such, I think she would enjoy that. Still no job for either of us, but something will work out. A few things depending I may try to take a brief trip up to Connecticut to see the grandparents and aunts and uncles in another week or two. We shall see. Until further things to relate here are a few pictures of the move.

I am going to try really hard to get back into the habit of posting as I really don't have much of an excuse not to. So a quick update. Cami and I are moving on Friday to Easley. No, neither of us has jobs but hell, its still the not stupidest and most illogical thing I've ever done. I'm staying on part time at work till I find something and just driving back and forth during the week. So, here's to blind faith.

Highland games was this last weekend and I would have to rate it as by far the best year yet. The actual games were much the same as ever. What made the difference were our most wonderful, unforgettable neighbors, Carrington and Alexander. Here is a most lovely group photo of us, well minus Alex, but this is the only photo I have at the moment so that will do.

I think that the best thing about this picture is that Jason is the only one who had not been drinking. Once again the music was exceptionally good. Jamesie was unearthly sexy and attractive. We did a short hike up Grandfather mountain and across the swinging bridge. Although it was all great I would have to pinpoint my favorite part as Saturday night after the concert. Amazing time. I was most sad to go home and return to real life where I am insanely busy and overwhelmed. However I shall strive to keep you all informed of any happenings. Now as Cami keeps asking Joe and I what we should do for the night I shall go and strive to please her with some chosen activity.

It is an apparent law of probabilities that when something has occurred to cause one distress, no one will answer their phone.

Okay, so I'm reading this article online. Entirely text based, no pictures, no nothing, just the words. Now I've been reading it for about the last hour when as I continue to scroll down there is just a floating gray box. A gray box. Just sitting there obscuring the words. Nothing to close or move and you can't even highlight the text under it. Now that made me laugh.

I have a new favorite pick up line that a guy has tried on me while at work. Note: this means that the guy is either an ER patient or there with one. I have to add "You remind me of Punky Brewster, I mean, can't you tell the similarities" to my previous favorite "My son is single.... I bet you'd make a great daughter in law". And lets not forget the ever classy, "you have a great voice for this sort of work".

And might I say that Tony Curtis, although a deliciously handsome man when young, makes one ugly woman.

So... I came back from England and France. And I keep meaning to post a few pictures. And I keep not doing it. So instead for the time being here are pictures of the "coffee table" Todd and I built this weekend. Entirely from scratch, and evidently without a clue on how to go about it. It's sorta good. At any rate it was a fun.

And here's Todd, doing what we basically did all weekend.

Yup, just like that. Sat there in our best impressions of gelatinous ooze.

And finally just cuz I feel that I need to post at least a bit of my trip pictures, here are two of my favorite places: On top of Notre Dame with the gargoyles and Dover.
